The Session of the Nordic Youth Council is an arena for politically engaged young people in the Nordics to come together to discuss current topics in Nordic co-operation and to influence Nordic co-operation for future generations.
Those participants who are entitled to vote at the Session represent national party-political youth organisations whose parent party is represented in the national parliament.
Organisations with observer status in the Nordic Youth Council can take part as observers. These are non-partisan youth organisations who work with matters concerning young people in the Nordic Region.
During the Session, resolutions are discussed that can be proposed by both member organisations and observers. The resolutions that are approved by the Session are then submitted to the Nordic Council by the board of the Nordic Youth Council.
