The green transition should be fair and not hit some groups harder than others. But how do we go about achieving that in practice? Is it rural versus urban, young versus old, rich versus poor? Are there differences between the Nordic countries? And what do we need to do to find fair solutions?

A recent report from the Nordic research centre Nordregio shows that there are clear differences in how people in the Nordic Region view the green transition. The report is part of the NJUST research project, which studies how different groups are affected as our societies transition to sustainability.
The purpose of the project was to produce proposals for how the Nordic countries can implement a green transition that is fair to all.
What challenges do the countries face as they transition, and how will they be addressed? These will be among the questions discussed at the seminar.
