Seminar on Nordic and European cooperation on disability - How can we create a region for all.

The Nordic countries work together to make our societies as accessible as possible. The welfare model can only survive if as many people as possible engage in the economy. This goes hand-in-hand with inclusion, i.e. the idea that every individual has equal value and the right to participate in education, work and society as a whole.

In this project, we invite our colleagues at the EU, the Council of Europe and the UN to develop and spread our ideas of universal design, accessibility and sustainable development. By taking human diversity as a starting point in the development of products, buildings, environments and systems, we can create a more functional and useful world for all. This ethical platform is the basis for, among other things, Nordic co-operation with the UN on building sustainable societies. We are proud of the fact that no one is left behind in the Nordic Region.
