Submit your nominations for the Nature and Environment Prize
The 21st Nordic Council Nature and Environment Prize will be handed over during a prize gala in Reykjavik's iconic concert venue Harpa on 27 October.
The theme is climate emissions and the prize will go to a company, organisation or person, which, in an exemplary way, has developed a product or invention, or through other creative efforts has contributed to the future reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases in the Nordic Region.

The names of the nominees will be announced in June.
Reykjavik last year
The winner of the DKK 350,000 Nordic Council Nature and Environment Prize 2014 was the City of Reykjavik.
Last year the theme was work by local authorities and communities but this year individuals are also eligible.
Previous winners
The Nordic Council Nature and Environment Prize has been awarded since 1995. Previous winners include Selina Juul for her work on food waste, the well known Norwegian environmental organisation Bellona, the Inuit Circumpolar Conference from Greenland, Ålands Agenda 21 Office, environmentalist Bogi Hansen from the Faroe Islands, Albertslund Council from Danmark, three Nordic banks and the Scandic hotels.
