On the basis of digital innovation, the WWF Seafood Guide contributes to generating consumer power over the sustainable consumption of fish and seafood stocks.

There are several apps in existence that help people to be environmentally friendly, but it is seldom that such apps not only help consumers to make environmentally friendly decisions, but empower these consumers as well. While other apps help people to make sound choices in their technology-filled day-to-day lives or to use food more wisely, the WWF Seafood Guide is the only app we know of that advocates biodiversity and more traditional forms of environmental protection. The app is available in Norway and Sweden.
