Maths skills are essential for an adult’s active participation in society and for accessing the labour market and training opportunities. The conference will focus on the following topics and areas:
- Adult education in the Nordics: How does it look and what are the current challenges? What can we learn from each other?
- Maths skills: Which skills are needed from different perspectives and how are they linked to vocational training and the labour market?
- AI and maths training: What is the significance of AI on the future of maths training?
- Validation, assessment, and mapping: What’s happening in these areas?
- Maths didactics: Which areas a relevant in adult education?
Purpose of the conference:
- Gain knowledge about current issues regarding maths training for adults
- Provide an opportunity to exchange experiences with teachers and school leaders from the other Nordic countries
- Get inspiration and ideas for your teaching
Target group: Teachers in maths and vocational subjects, school leaders, study and vocational guidance counsellors, teacher training specialists, and others with an interest in the content of the conference.
Conference language: English and Scandinavian
