Nordics have special responsibility for climate change

“The aim of Vision 2030 is a climate-neutral world”. These were the words of Secretary General Karen Ellemann during her plenary speech at COP28 in Dubai.
Although the Nordic countries are well-placed to become climate-neutral societies, we need to pick up the pace of the green transition. During her speech at day 7 of COP, Karen Ellemann said that the Nordics are united when it comes to reducing CO2 emissions. The Nordics are also committed to increasing their production of fossil-free and renewable energy.
