This year you do not have to fly all the way to Glasgow, UK, to participate in the discussions about the UN Climate negotiations, COP26. The Nordic co-operation gives you access to the debates – online or on spot in Helsinki at the Nordic COP26 Hub.

8 flags. 27 million people. 1 vision! The Nordic countries have ambitious climate goals. We want to become the most sustainable region in the world by 2030. During COP26 we invite you to join the conversation on how to solve the climate crisis and reach the goal of carbon neutrality. Both by following the events online and at our Nordic COP26 Hub in Helsinki.

Join the conversation in person at the Nordic COP26 Hub in Helsinki

Choosing the green solutions is important. That is why you don’t have to jump on a plane to take part in the conversation about climate action. We have created a Nordic COP26 Hub in Helsinki and invite all Nordic citizens and organizations to join our events. Our mission is to showcase important Nordic solutions to our climate challenges and to create a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, networking, promote cooperation and joint action within the Nordics.

When: November 5th to November 12th

Where: Nordic Culture Point, Kaisaniemenkatu 9, Helsinki

We have partnered up with key stakeholders such as politicians, climate activists, experts, NGOs, big and small companies working with sustainability and many more. We want you to join the conversation too!

More than 100 events take place at the Nordic Pavilion in Glasgow and the Nordic COP26 Hub in Helsinki during COP26. From green energy and transportation to food systems and gender. This year, you don’t need an accreditation to gain access to the events. All you need is a good internet connection.

We are streaming all events live from the pavilion in collaboration with our media partner, the world’s leading social media on climate change; We Don’t Have Time.

Choosing Green

The Nordic Region is our home. All over the Nordic Region, in towns and in the country, we seek to live in harmony with nature and create sustainable societies.

But we must do more. Climate change, pollution and threats to biodiversity call for our attention, our energy. The Nordic model also faces growing challenges as democracy, integration and inclusion come under pressure.

In the Nordic region we want to become the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030. Under the headline “Choosing Green” we are determined to show what this really means in relation to the UN Climate negotiations.

So save the dates either you find yourself on site in Glasgow, in Helsinki or from the comfort of your home and join the Nordic co-operation in taking action, reducing our climate impact and in finding solutions to the climate challenges.
