Dear colleagues and friends. First of all, on behalf of our delegation from the Baltic Assembly, I would like to thank you for the invitation to your 75th session.

Thank you. I will do it in English even though I speak Danish. 

Ærede gæster, politikere, embedsfolk og medhjælpere i Nordisk Råd, tak, fordi I giver mig mulighed for som rådsformand i Vestnordisk Råd at deltage i Nordisk Råds session 2023.

Dette er vel første gang i mitt liv at jeg taler som internasjonal gjest på et møte i Norge.

Madam Chair, dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen! I am a Dutch Member of Parliament and a Member of the Benelux Parliament, the Parliament of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

It is a great honour and pleasure for me to be with you today – and yesterday.
