Winner to be announced on 21 October

The winner of the 2025 Nordic Council Music Prize will be announced on 21 October. In connection with the Session of the Nordic Council in Stockholm the following week, the winner will receive the “Nordlys” prize statuette at a special award ceremony at the Sweden's Riksdag.

The prize money of DKK 300,000 is shared equally between the winning screenwriter, director and producer, which underlines that film as an art form is the result of close co-operation between these three main functions.
