Cities and urban planning will be one of the recurring themes at COP22. The Nordic Pavilion will be no exception. One of the events will be a theme day on sustainable town planning and sustainable smart building solutions, which take into account human, environmental and macro-economic realities.
Other Nordic theme days will cover green growth, energy, the Arctic, water and financing. The first of the theme days will be about young people. It will be arranged in cooperation with UNFCCC on 7 November.
The programme for the Nordic Pavilion is available on the website norden.org/cop22, along with links to live streams from the pavilion and relevant publications, news, interactive material and pictures from COP22.
On Twitter, the Nordic countries will be using the hashtag #NNCS (New Nordic Climate Solutions) during COP22. You can also follow the Nordic Council of Ministers on Facebook and Twitter @Nordic_Climate.
The Nordic countries are pioneers of sustainable climate solutions. The Nordic market serves as a living laboratory, in which new solutions are tested prior to upscaling. Nordic co-operation supports and enhances the impact of this work. Further information on New Nordic Climate Solutions is available at norden.org/nncs.
