We are proud to announce that Nordic Talks has been named as one of the finalists in the Danish Design Awards 2023, in the category “Message Understood”.

As part of Vision 2030, which aims to make the Nordic Region the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030, Nordic Talks has spent the last two years sparking debate about major global issues. The popular series seeks to inspire everyone to make big and small changes in support of the sustainability goals. It combines live events and podcasts to communicate strong messages in a simple yet aesthetically appealing way.

We are therefore proud to announce that Nordic Talks has been named as one of the finalists in the Danish Design Awards 2023, in the category “Message Understood”. We greatly appreciate that some of the best brains in the design business recognise our unique approach to discussing how best to achieve a more sustainable future.

It truly is a great idea to address relevant topics in a fresh and modern design that is relatable for the next generations, representing the Nordics in the world – not to it.

Jury, Danish Design Awards 2022

Proud and thrilled

"It truly is a great idea to address relevant topics in a fresh and modern design that is relatable for the next generations, representing the Nordics in the world – not to it. An interesting aspect is the interaction with the Nordic diaspora worldwide; this is where the idea can really take off," the jury said.

Project manager Tobias Grut is proud and thrilled that the Danish Design Award has recognised Nordic Talks for both its design and the concept. He says: “Considering that the profiling project that Nordic Talks is part of seeks to promote vital dialogue across national borders, it has always been a priority for us that Nordic Talks should be a platform that is easy for everyone to use, regardless of their age or where they live. And it’s even more important for us to show that there is more than one way to make more sustainable choices. We all have opportunities to contribute, but in a sea of information and complex reports, it is sometimes difficult to know where to start. It helps to have a platform that is both user-friendly and aesthetically inspiring.”
