The Nordic Center for Genetic Resources, NordGen, invites three school groups to participate in workshops on seeds, food growing and food security. The children learn about the importance of biological diversity of plant species, learn about the four types of grain grown in the Nordic countries and gain a better understanding of where the food we grow comes from and how it can be grown in the local environment.
