Venue for the Plenary Session

Reykjavik City Hall (Ráðhúsið)

Entrances
The only entrance to the area covering the Plenary hall in Reykjavik City Hall (Ráðhúsið)
and meeting venues in Parliament (Alþingi), will be through the main entrance in front of Skáli building, Kirkjustræti 12.  

All participants must expect full security checks at the entrance to Skáli when entering the secure area on all days. There is only one screening gate at the entrance. Please keep this in mind when calculating arrival times.

All visitors must check in and present a valid ID on their first visit within the secure area. Badges must be worn and visible at all times while on location.

The registration desk is open during the following hours:
Friday 25th October: 13:00-15:00
Sunday 27th October: 17:00-19:00
Monday 28th October: 7:30-18:00
Tuesday 29th October: 7:00-16:00
Wednesday 30th October: 7:30-12:00
Thursday 31st October: 8:00-12:00

Meeting rooms are available and located in:

Smiðja (Alþingi), Tjarnargata 9
Reykjavik City Hall, Tjarnargata 11

Guided tours around the Parliament Building 

Alþingi offers guided tours around the Parliament Building (30 minutes) at the following times: 

Thursday 31st October: 13:30, 14:00, 14:30 

There are spaces for 25 guests on each tour. The tour starts in the foyer of Skáli. Please book in advance by sending an e-mail to fraedsla@althingi.is

Press

Press conferences will take place in the Old Canteen in Skáli (2nd floor). It is possible to have interviews in the adjacent meeting rooms on a first come, first serve basis.

The press centre is in the City Hall.
