Which country has experienced the highest levels of pandemic babies? Is working from home here to stay? Will the pandemic lead to better Nordic co-operation? Tune in on the Nordic Day 2022 to find the answer to these questions and many more as we launch five events revealing the Nordic region’s state.

On March 23, Nordregio will publish their biannual report State of the Nordic region. This year’s report will focus on COVID-19 and its effect on the Nordic Region. Nordregio is an international research centre for regional development and planning established by the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The events will guide you through the report, and some of its main findings, mainly focusing on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the Nordic Region from three perspectives: demographics, economics, and the labour market. The report offers a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the world’s most integrated region, comprising Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Åland.
