Funding for projects involving the Nordic region and Québec

The co-operation with the provincial government of Québec has been established under the Nordic Council of Minister’s co-operation programme “Co-operation with the Nordic region’s neighbours to the west”.

On 27 February 2015, the provincial government of Québec and the Nordic Council of Ministers signed a Letter of Intent with the overall aim of raising awareness of each other's regions and creating real co-operation between stakeholders in Québec and the Nordic countries.

As part of the implementation of the Letter of Intent, it has been agreed to create a pool to support co-operation between Québec and the Nordic region in the areas of culture, society, research and innovation. It is also possible to apply for travel grants as part of the process of developing projects.
