From 19 February, you can apply for a grant from the Embassy Programme. The aim of the programme is to promote co-operation between Nordic embassies and diplomatic missions in line with Vision 2030, which seeks to deliver a Nordic Region that is green, competitive, and socially sustainable. Applications are welcomed for any size of project from all the Nordic embassies outside the Nordic Region.

The InnoCity Connect project from South Korea is a successful example that has already received funding. The project seeks to maintain co-operation between the Nordic countries and South Korea in relation to achieving zero emissions by way of digital solutions. The focus of the project is on smart solutions for cities and global urban planning challenges by connecting Nordic cities to Korean challenges, promoting Nordic values and solutions, and facilitating collaboration and the exchange of knowledge.

A total of 15 applicants from around the world have already shared grants totalling EUR 423,000. Examples of projects that have received funding include anti-corruption seminars, the promotion of women in the political and economic spheres, podcast production for tech startups, and collaborative projects for zero-emission cities.
