New embassy programme now open for applications
The InnoCity Connect project from South Korea is a successful example that has already received funding. The project seeks to maintain co-operation between the Nordic countries and South Korea in relation to achieving zero emissions by way of digital solutions. The focus of the project is on smart solutions for cities and global urban planning challenges by connecting Nordic cities to Korean challenges, promoting Nordic values and solutions, and facilitating collaboration and the exchange of knowledge.
A total of 15 applicants from around the world have already shared grants totalling EUR 423,000. Examples of projects that have received funding include anti-corruption seminars, the promotion of women in the political and economic spheres, podcast production for tech startups, and collaborative projects for zero-emission cities.
Nordic embassies and diplomatic programmes outside the Nordic Region can apply for funding
Funding is available for any size of project that has a budget of between EUR 5,000 and EUR 45,000. Small grants can be used for things like one-off events and individual activities. Larger grants can be used for multiple events or a series of activities, or to promote relevant agendas related to Vision 2030 over a period of one or two years.
