Healthy, Safe and Sustainable Diet (HSSD)

HSSD’s area of responsibility covers activities within nutrition, food and toxicology with a special focus on risk-benefit and overall assessments of food and food consumption. HSSD is responsible for the review and follow-up on the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations (NNR) and the third Nordic Monitoring (NORMO) on diet, physical activity and overweight. HSSD will continue to follow-up on the intentions in the "Nordic Action Plan on better health and quality of life through diet and physical activity", e.g. with focus on nutrition labelling, partnerships and sustainable food consumption.
