Annette Lind, Vice President of the Nordic Council in 2021
Bertel Haarder (Denmark) was elected President of the Nordic Council 2021 at a digital meeting of the Presidium on Thursday 29 October 2020. Annette Lind (Denmark) was elected vice-president.
Annette Lind has been a member of the Danish parliament, the Folketing, since 2011. She is a member of the Danish Social Democratic Party and has been their parliamentary group’s secretary since 2019. Lind is the party’s spokesperson on foreign affairs, and from 2014 to 2019 she was the party’s education spokesperson. Lind is also her party’s spokesperson on cybersecurity.
In the Nordic Council, she is a member of the Social Democratic Group.
Annette Lind was elected as Vice President of the Nordic Council for 2021 in connection with the Nordic Council’s digital session week in 2020.
