Joint Control of Tattoo Inks

The report details the findings of a Nordic Enforcement project ensuring compliance with the new REACH restriction targeting hazardous chemicals in tattoo inks.The project examined 211 inks from 64 enterprises, revealing several contained restricted substances, and many of those from outside the EU. Labelling compliance was also an issue, with only 8% correctly labelled. The report highlights the need for ongoing monitoring and increased awareness, as only 7% of inks fully met the new regulations.
