GMT: 09.15 - 10.00

EET: 11.15 - 12.00

The maritime sector has an obligation to cut emissions. Once efficiency measures are exhausted and slow steaming has become widespread – new ship types and low or no-carbon fuels has to take over.  Are the maritime sector prepared for this quantum leap? What are the supporting routes to decarbonizing the industry? What are the concrete projects and measures currently being implemented in the Nordic region?

Speakers

  • Jari Kauppila, Head SG office and Quantitative Policy Analysis ITF
  • Nanna Thit Hemmingsen, Project Manager, The Connected Ship project, MARLOG
  • Hege Økland, CEO, Maritime Cleantech (video)
