The Nordic Council of Ministers for Gender Equality and LGBTI wants a world where everyone enjoys the same rights and has equal opportunities, regardless of their gender.
We also believe that gender equality and women and girls’ rights are fundamental values in themselves and the foundation for democratic, sustainable, and prosperous societies.
At a time of urgent global challenges and with the risk of regression across regions, global voices for progress must stand together and firm to achieve gender equality and ensure that all women and girls can fully and equally enjoy all their human rights.
To turn this ambition into action, the Nordic Ministers for Gender Equality will bring together ministers and other high-level representatives of international organizations, civil society, and philanthropy to advance gender equality and equal rights of women and girls globally.

The Copenhagen Call to Action for Gender Equality and Women’s and Girls' Rights.
Together, we want to stand united in international arenas, build stronger and more diverse alliances, engage all actors, and take concrete action. We look forward to working together to push for progress.
