Apply for funding for circular innovation projects
As part of the programme, we have established an innovation fund of a total of 3 million Danish kroner. The scheme aims to support municipalities in testing and scaling circular solutions that can reduce emissions and costs related to municipal procurement. Municipalities can apply for up to 750,000 kroner per project. Previous projects show that funding can be crucial for achieving success.
Intention with the innovation fund
To fund projects on a local and regional level, that support the goals of the Nordic Program on Circular Procurement (NPCP). These are:
- Develop solutions to common barriers Nordic municipalities face in implementing circular solutions and optimizing logistics
- Reduction of GHG emissions
- Reduction of costs for municipalities
Who may apply?
- Nordic municipalities are prioritized for funding.
- Other local and regional contracting authorities may also apply.
