If I can shortly reply to your comment, the President of the Baltic Assembly, Mrs Giedrė Purvaneckienė – who will speak a little bit later – will to my mind express the cooperation between the Baltic Assembly and the Nordic Council with respect to Ukrainian questions.

On my side, the Ukrainian question is of course very important to us. The Baltic Assembly and the parliaments of every Baltic country regularly have very good contacts with Ukrainian parliamentarians, and on our side, we are doing our best to transfer this information to the Nordic countries. We also regularly invite representatives from the Nordic countries to our meetings with Ukrainian parliamentarians, in order for you to get the direct information on what is happening there. The President of Latvia, Mr Raimonds Vējonis, just visited Ukraine. He had a meeting with Porosjenko and the Prime Minister of Ukraine and discussed what kind of help Ukraine needs from the Baltic countries and the Nordic countries after the elections.

Om jag helt kort får svara på er kommentar så kommer Baltiska parlamentariska församlingens president fru Giedre Purvaneckiene, som ska tala litet senare, att ta upp samarbetet mellan Baltiska församlingen och Nordiska rådet angående ukrainska frågor.

Vi inbjuder också regelbundet representanter från de nordiska länderna till våra möten med ukrainska parlamentariker för att ni ska få direkt information om vad som händer där. Lettlands president, Raimonds Vjonis, besökte nyligen Ukraina. Han träffade Porosjenko och den ukrainske premiärministern och de diskuterade vilket slags hjälp Ukraina behöver från de baltiska länderna och de nordiska länderna efter valet.
