Nordic Co-operation Programme for Gender Equality and LGBTI 2025–2030

The Nordic Region has come a long way in its work towards gender equality and equal rights for LGBTI people through both legislation and political initiatives. However, the region still has a long way to go before all citizens can be said to have the same ability to influence and give shape to their lives, and to contribute to society on an equal footing, regardless of gender. Similarly, challenges remain to be solved before LGBTI people in the Nordic Region can be said to have the same rights and opportunities as the wider population. The Co-operation Programme describes the political priorities and objectives of the Nordic Council of Ministers for Gender Equality and LGBTI for the period 2025–2030 and how these relate to Vision 2030.
