Product Service Systems in the Nordics

The report, Product-Service Systems (PSS) in the Nordics, investigates how PSS models can support sustainable consumption and resource efficiency in the Nordic countries. From 2021 to 2024, the project evaluated 16 pilot projects and engaged with more than 100 stakeholders to uncover the conditions for PSS success. It highlights the economic and environmental benefits of these systems while identifying the challenges that hinder their adoption. Through targeted recommendations for businesses, policymakers, and financial institutions, the report aims to facilitate regional cooperation, promote circular business models, and drive sustainable economic growth across the Nordic region.
