Climate action can be seen in several different contexts today, in our daily lives but also in corporations and social institutions. In what way can for example museums be gameplayers when it comes to climate action? Climate action is a driver for change, but the question still remains; Is change happening fast enough?
We warmly welcome you to our Climate Action Festival day to hear and learn more about these interesting topics.

14.00-15.00 Unfolding the tools that will accelerate the energy transition

How quickly can we deliver change? And at what cost? The unfortunate truth about climate change is that the longer we wait, the higher the cost. And we cannot afford the high costs of inaction. This side-event to the COP25 brings together a broad variety of policy-makers and private-sector leaders to focus on how policies and technology solutions available today can cost-effectively support the decarbonization of our energy systems. It highlights that to achieve climate neutrality and unleash the societal benefits of doing so, substantial climate action rests on two principles of action: 1) cutting energy consumption, and 2) covering remaining energy consumption with renewables.

17.00-18.30 Nordic Talks: Is climate change changing parenthood

Joint event between Stockholm and Madrid 📺

Why don’t grownups care about climate change? That is a question many parents most likely will be answering their children in the 2020’s, unless we as adults, role models and political leaders start to act as though we mean business when it comes to saving our planet and securing a safe future for our children. With Greta Thunberg as their trailblazer, children are starting to educate their parents and demand responsibility. Are roles changing while the poles are melting? Is climate change changing parenthood?
