Välkommen till inspirerande samtal om hur vi kan intensifiera kampen mot matsvinn på Nordic Food Waste Summit den 26 april 2023 i Stockholm. Vilka är de bästa metoderna för att minska matsvinnet? Matsvinn är en stor hållbarhetsfråga med omfattande effekter på vårt klimat och vår miljö. Vi slänger mer än en tredjedel av all mat som produceras i världen. I de nordiska länderna slängs cirka 3,5 miljoner ton mat årligen. Om livsmedelsavfall vore ett land skulle det vara världens tredje största utsläppare av växthusgaser. Att minska matsvinnet är en viktig aspekt för att skapa hållbara livsmedelssystem som främjar miljöns, klimatets och människornas hälsa.

Det nordiska toppmötet om matsvinn samlar experter, politiker, myndigheter, företag och civilsamhället i ett försök att öka samarbetet och få till stånd omedelbara åtgärder för att minska matsvinnet. Toppmötet äger rum vid en viktig tidpunkt då vårt matsvinn måste minskas.

Toppmötet är öppet för alla aktörer inom sektorn. Välkommen till en inspirerande dag med framstående talare där vi tar itu med utmaningen att minska matsvinnet. Toppmötet hålls på engelska.
