12.30-13.30 Lunch talk: ”Bonde söker bönder” explores the future of farming

- Elin Röös, researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences
Adam Arnesson also known as “Ekobonden” and Elin Röös joined forces in a project that managed to cut the greenhouse gas emissions from Adam’s farm by half. How did they go about this? What can farmers and policymakers in other Nordic or European countries learn from their journey? They will also discuss how farmers can be incentivized to go about this change and how they see the role of changes in food consumption.

The actions and inactions of the present population will jeopardise the rights and wellbeing of generations yet to come. As the generation of now, people under 30 make up roughly half of the world’s population. So lets change that!
So lets discuss the potential of increased youth voices and influence in climate and environment policy.

Nordic Ministers meet with climate-committed young people from organizations in Denmark, Iceland Sweden, Norway and Finland to set their hopes and expectations for COP25. During COP25, the young people will report from the COP to young people in the Nordic countries and Madrid.
