In the autumn of 2021, parental leave is due to be reformed in Finland and fathers will be given an opportunity to stay at home with their children longer. How can we change the attitude of parents, employers and society towards fathers on parental leave? Nordic fathers use only 10 to 30 percent of the total parental leave but are still the best in the world at taking parental leave to be with their young children.
