Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has led to the likelihood that all of the Nordic countries will soon be members of NATO.
The shift by Sweden and Finland from non-alignment to NATO membership has been made at record speed. What impact will their NATO membership have on defence and security co-operation in the Nordic Region, and how safe can the people of the Region feel?
Previously a taboo subject, defence has also become one of the most important issues for the Nordic Council. Why the dramatic change?
