This workshop presents the ongoing trends in agriculture and food sectors, after which a panel discussion will be held, in which future challenges, research needs, and solutions are discussed.

An expert panel discussion will illuminate, expand, and add nuance to current (mis)understandings of the interconnected roles livestock play in food systems and as a part of making food systems more/less sustainable.

This event will provide information on the NCM-funded project CITE--Climate Impacts on Terrestrial Environments, a pilot study to demonstrate co-production of a project plan between Saami reindeer herders and terrestrial/climate researchers to document climate-related changes on reindeer pasturelands in Fennoscandinan Sápmi.
